Pick a Pay-Per-Click Management Company

When you’re just getting started in pay-per-click advertising on your Web site, you just might find yourself completely overwhelmed. Likewise, when you’re doing really well and are running a number of successful PPC advertising campaigns, there may come a time when you can’t stay on top of all of them.In both of those cases, you may realize that you need help. That’s where a PPC management company comes in. But how do you pick the right one?

Step1
Do your homework. Research what PPC management companies are out there and what services they offer.

Step2
Determine whether or not the company is qualified to run your campaign(s). Find out what its track record is and how long it has been operating.
Step3
Ask how much input you will be able to have in how the campaign is run. Determine whether or not the company will work with you to run the campaign or if the staff will want complete control.
Step4
Find out how much the company staff will do. Will they only work to manage the account with the search engine or will they also be writing the ads and making changes to the campaign as necessary?
Step5
Learn how the management company tracks the campaign results. Which reports do they evaluate, and how do they act based on the information.
Step6
Get information about the company’s reputation. Read client testimonials. Ask if there are clients who have used their service that you can contact if you have questions.
Step7
Choose a company with a good reputation whose business goals are in line with your own.

Make Money on Pay-Per-Click Advertising

It’s no secret that pay-per-click advertising can be a great way of driving traffic to your Web site. It’s also little wonder that more traffic yields more sales.Because PPC advertising quickly drives targeted traffic to sites, it can be one of the most effective ways to make money. But how can you be sure that your PPC advertising will bring you the sales you want?

Step1
Know your product. The same holds true if you offer a service that you are trying to sell. The more you are aware of your product or service, the more you will be able to explain how it benefits your customer.
Step2
Develop an effective keyword list and write your ad with relevant but creative copy. By using the keywords that will bring targeted customers to your site, you will get greater conversions from clicks to sales. But just showing up in the top ads isn’t enough: You need a great hook that will compel your customer to use the link to get to your site.
Step3
Stay within your budget. Sure, with PPC advertising you spend money to make money, but you don’t want to spend more than you make.
Step4
Master the bidding process. Not only will a solid understanding of how the bidding process works help you from going over-budget, but it will also help you bid the right amount for each keyword.
Step5
Make sure you have an effective landing site. Once you have committed to spending money to get customers to your site, make sure the copy on your site will be persuasive enough to make them buy.
Step6
Analyze your campaign. Track which keywords work, which keywords don’t. Know which encourage clicks and how many clicks are converted into sales. If part of your campaign is not working, if the clicks are not converting to sales, stop using it.

Bid the Right Amount on My Pay-Per-Click Ads

You’re ready to launch your pay-per-click campaign. You’ve got great ads written with fantastic headlines. You know which search engines you’re going to use. You’ve got a fantastic list of keywords that you know your customers are using to find your site. You’re ready to go.But before you start, there’s one more thing you need to consider: how to bid the right amount on keywords and key phrases for your campaign.

Step1
Determine your advertising budget. Look at how much money you have to spend, and make sure you don’t spend more than that when you launch your campaign.
Step2
Prioritize your keywords. You’ve already made a list of them and you know which ones your visitors use the most. Now, evaluate which are the most important to your campaign.
Step3
Evaluate the cost of each keyword or key phrase. When you look at a list of cost-per-click for your best keywords, make sure it’s in your budget. Keep in mind there will be tight competition for the best keywords, and using the most common ones may not be the best plan.
Step4
Break down your budget based on your keyword research. Rather than working with your overall budget, determine what your budget is for each of your keywords.
Step5
Manage your campaign well. You will need to re-evaluate your campaign daily to determine which keyword clicks are converting to sales and how much of a return on your investment you are getting.

Write a Keyword Specific Pay-Per-Click Ad

You’ve done the research and have decided you want to run a pay-per-click ad campaign to market your business. How do you write an ad that uses effective keywords?

Step1
Know the most relevant keywords and key phrases based on what your target customers look for on search engines.

Step2
Use your keyword in both the title and the body of the advertisement.
Step3
Describe your product or service as specifically as possible.
Step4
Use proven copywriting techniques in your ad. Make sure your ad answers a question or solves a problem your target has.
Step5
Design your ad for highly targeted traffic. Eliminate those who are not ready to commit to a purchase.

Advertise a Web Page Using Banners

Banners, clickable ads that appear on Web sites, can generate new traffic to your site. Once you have created a banner, you're ready to advertise

Step1
Join a banner exchange, such as LinkExchange. With banner exchange programs, you place banners for other Web sites on your site, and your banner is placed on other sites. This service is usually free.

Step2
Create your own banner exchange with a Web site related to your business. For example, if your Web site sells bakeware, contact the Webmaster of a cooking site for a possible banner exchange.
Step3
Contact Web sites where you'd like to post a banner and ask for their advertising rates. Although you may not be able to afford banner space on a high-volume site such as Yahoo, smaller companies and start-ups typically offer more reasonable rates.
Step4
Offer your banner on your Web site. Many Web sites have a section called "Link to our Web site," offering a small banner and the code to insert in a Web page.
